The story.
Hi, I am Mary.
I grew up on the Southern Coast of Oregon and started drawing at a very early age, I was shy and introverted and found creating colorful illustrations comforting and I would lose all track of time. I wrote stories about bunnies and wildlife, spending my days dreaming of who must live among the Marigolds. I studied esthetics and became a make up artist for 2 decades before picking up a paintbrush and returning to the craft that makes me the happiest.
All the original illustrations are made with pencil, watercolor paints and arches paper. I then create, stamp, sign & pack up each order just for you! Everything is printed in-house or locally sourced from other small family owned businesses.
My studio is nestled on our small one acre farm in Ferndale, Washington. I am surrounded by my loving family and my spoiled dog, cats, bearded dragon, horse and mini donkey! I start my day with a cup of coffee and short walk to the studio to plan my out my orders. Every order I receive is methodically thought about and designed with you in mind, with so much love and joy-I am and will always be eternally grateful for every piece that finds it’s way to your home.
